The proposed Galle Etudes are undoubtedly excellent material for working on the gradual development of technical and artistic skills of young performers. It should also be noted that these sketches (plays) have a certain artistic significance, corresponding to the romantic taste of the early 19th century.
However, some limited register range of the trumpet in this material suggests further work on etudes in tunings in C and in D. At the same time, for conservatory students studying the horn, these original etudes are excellent educational material.
