Guitar floor preamp PD-5B is built on 2 tubes 12AX7 (ECC83S JJ analog) and can work both in the mixing console and in the guitar combo, with a speaker simulator for the mixer and an output for the combo.
With two buttons, you can set one of four modes: two options for pure sound and two - overdrive. Both pure sound and overdrive have their own sensitivity and volume controls and a three-band equalizer.
The sound structure of the PD-5B in comparison with the standard model PD-5 differs with a more modern timbre with an increased bottom and lower center. The structure of the overload PD-5B is more readable and "growling", which in sum gives a dense powerful overload.
