A limited collection of our finest hand-made Turkish cymbals, Byzance Foundry Reserve showcases the stunning, sonically rich works of art our cymbalsmiths create. Tonality and nuance are added with extra hand-hammering, resulting in deep craters that riddle the surfaces. Coupled with wide blade lathing, these cymbals produce a clear, pronounced stick-attack note over a lush bed of even undertones.
Made in Turkey from B20 bronze, hand-hammered into shape, wide blade lathing, and traditional finish.
Each Byzance Foundry Reserve comes with a pair of Meinl Stick & Brush Standard 5A Drumsticks, a pair of 100% cotton handling gloves, a signed certificate of authenticity, and a personal letter from Mr. Reinhold Meinl.

Versatile light ride with a dark and brooding light wash that can explode quickly into an ominous crash. Bright attack followed by a lush wash of undertones. Responds great to mallets too.
