LaBella Vapor Shield is a new generation of extended life strings. These strings are unlike any other, as their surface changes during processing. String coverage is now a thing of the past.
The strings are manufactured using Acoustic Sound's latest Vapor Process, which activates a complex of proprietary compounds in a gas-discharge plasma to reshape the entire surface of the string. As a result, the string is protected from dirt, grease and tarnishing. More importantly, the playability and life of the string is increased without flaking or compromising the sound.
LaBella Vapor Shield processing technology makes strings unlike any other. The entire surface of the string is treated with a polymer in a gaseous state (no spraying or immersion), a material that takes many hours to prepare.
Sounds brighter than typical coated and uncoated strings. Unlike conventional coated strings, LaBella Vapor Shield strings have both the uncoated bass and first strings processed to achieve a smoother sound.
Feel. The Ionic Vapor Process improves the surface finish of the string, making it smoother than conventional coated and uncoated strings.
The service life is five times longer than uncoated strings.
