Music-making in solfeggio lessons has recently begun to take a greater place in the course of this subject. Students singing a romance with accompaniment is one of the exam requirements for the solfeggio program. However, there are very few collections in which a teacher could find and select material for students with different levels of training.
The series of issues is designed mainly for students in grades 5-7. Only selected works are available for performance in the 4th grade.
The fourth issue included ensembles without accompaniment and with accompaniment by D. Bortnyansky, A. Dargomyzhsky, A. Gurilev, A. Varlamov, P. Bulakhov, M. Glinka, A. Rubinshtein, as well as Russian folk songs.
