Alhambra

Alhambra was founded in 1965 in Spain and has a huge experience in the production of handmade classical, flamenco and steel string guitars. At 14,000 square meters of production space, real art objects are created, combining tradition of handmade and the most modern woodworking techniques.
The Alhambra staff is a real family with 110 members, each of whom has a great experience in the production of stringed instruments. This team of professionals works in cooperation with a design workshop where new models of guitars are designed and developed. Alhambra employs the best specialists trained in the company from generation to generation.
The process of creating an ideal guitar begins with a careful selection of the best wood (cedar, spruce, rosewood, ebony, etc.), which is purchased in places of origin and imported to manufacture the guitars. At the Alhambra factory, wood is dried naturally using the latest automatic drying technology, which allows to stabilize the process. Afterwards the different pieces are made, assembled varnished and polished to complete the process with individual tuning and sound control of each guitar.
Alhambra aims to provide the best instrument for every buyer. That's why the entire model range is divided into three levels: beginner models, models for the conservatory and finally the professional range. All Alhambra guitars can has options to meet any needs: the company produces cut away versions, customized guitars, special measures, preamps, left-handed instruments, etc.
