Art & Lutherie

From the choice of wood to finishing, all the Art & Lutherie guitars are fully manufactured in Canada in the small town of Princeville, Quebec. Each guitar is made with the utmost attention to the quality of assembly and sound.
The concept of the Art & Lutherie brand is to combine the best features of hand-made guitars (such as the solid tops, quality craftsmanship and beautiful finishes) in an instrument with an honest and affordable price.
For Art & Lutherie acoustic guitars only selected Canadian woods is used. The tops of the instruments are made from select pressure tested solid spruce. As a material for the necks Silver Leaf Maple is taken, whose characteristics of density, weight and sound are very similar to mahogany. This gives the instrument is not only stable, but also more sonority. The back and sides  are made of three-ply solid wood lamination of Wild Cherry, the sound characteristics of which lies between the mellow tone of mahogany and the bright sound of the maple.
This ensures each guitar produces exceptional tone and still exhibits the stability to hit the road, making them a great “workhorse” of a guitar that you can depend on and enjoy for years.
