Unlike most musical instruments, which retain their design for many decades, the guitar does not stand still and continues to evolve. The team of engineers constantly explores and refining new production technologies, materials and improves the electronics of Godin instruments.
The necks and bodies of electric guitars and basses Godin are made in the Canadian village of La Patrie, Quebec. Guitars are assembled in two factories: in Richmond, Quebec and in Berlin, New Hampshire.
Godin guitars is the search for the perfect balance between proven traditions and new design concepts. Despite serial production, there is more handwork in each guitar than you would find in most custom shops: fretting, sanding and polishing of necks - all done manually.
