The XT series is the first D'Addario strings that combine a base made of a proprietary high-carbon steel alloy and strings without a braid made of steel wire with a super-thin protective coating on all the strings of the set. The strings have an extended service life, increased strength, stability of the structure, while maintaining the sensations and sound characteristic of your favorite strings without spraying.
A super-thin layer of protective coating is applied to all six strings of the XT series. The layer is completely not felt when playing and does not change the usual tone of the strings.
