The incredibly simple user interface of Dual FET Circuit Design, but don't worry about what's under the hood. Just enjoy 1 simple control knob, 2 amplification options and 2 bypass modes.

2 amplification modes.
Clean mode.
While Clean mode, the Lacerate pedal increases the signal level without any staining. The Lacerate pedal is one of the cleanest booster pedals.

Crank mode.
If you need a bold, harmonic-rich sound, then just press and hold the pedal button for 1 second to activate the second mode, which will add an overload to the sound. Most booster pedals are capable of producing only +20 dB, but Lacerate in Crank mode is capable of +35 dB. From medium to huge!

Higher voltage, more power and dynamics.
Lacerate has a built-in voltage doubler that automatically changes the voltage from 9V to 18V, which gives you gigantic power and dynamics.
warning. To avoid damage to the voltage doubling circuit, use ONLY a 9V power supply.

True Bypass or Buffer Bypass schemes.
Doubling the voltage to 18V gives you better dynamics, but also creates a better buffer. Many professional guitarists start their effects chain with a separate buffer. Lacerate has a built-in selective buffer bypass.
You can change the bypass mode by turning on the power and holding the footswitch at the same time.
