The Yorktown-BV is a superbly crafted traditional hollow-body electric guitar that delivers a big, warm and full-bodied tone that its appearance implies. Featuring the old-world construction methods that contribute to its classic sound, the Yorktown-BV features a spruce top, maple back and sides and a set-in Canadian hard maple neck. Other features include a floating bridge with fine-tuning capability, an elegant harp tailpiece, block inlays on the fretboard, vintage-style tuners, and a set of the versatile ClassicRocker-II humbuckers.

Set Neck Construction.
The Yorktown is all about big and bold tone. To fully maximize the Spruce top, Maple back and sides and the hard rock Maple neck, Cort’s craftsmen have carefully set this neck into the body using a classic dovetail joint. This delivers enhanced sustain and tone.

T.O.M. Bridge with Harp Tailpiece.
The Yorktown model is equipped with a floating tune-o-matic bridge that ensures the accuracy of the formation and the perfect intonation necessary for playing complex chords throughout the fingerboard. The string holder is classic, gives the instrument class and elegance, providing functionality and stability of tuning.

ClassicRocker-II Pickups.
For an even more complete and dense sound, Yorktown is equipped with two ClassicRocker-II pickups. The windings in each of these humbuckers are very dense, which makes them more productive than typical PAF pickups.
