The fundamental difference between this instrument and other steel drums is that 4 notes are tuned on one petal at once. 1 main tone and 3 additional overtones. Thanks to this tuning system, we get a lot of overtones sounding in unison, they resonate with each other - giving a special, characteristic sound (this is a worthy alternative to hang, which has the same tuning system).
The small weight of the instrument (3-3.5 kg) and compact size allow you to take it on travel.
