The Classic Series features two distinctive types of models: the traditional Spanish-style nylon-string AC models and hybrid nylon-string CEC models that borrow from steel-string cutaway acoustic-electrics with cutaways, narrower nut width, and Fishman electronics. CEC5 features slim body with cutaway, 45mm nut width and electronics for steel-string players who love the nylon-string sound.

Solid Red Cedar Top.
Compared to spruce, the sound of cedar is softer and warmer. The accentuated mid-range and melodic tops make the cedar ideal for those who play too much and prefer a rounded and rich sound.

Mahogany Back and Sides.
Bright yet natural with a strong and warm midrange, the beloved mahogany wood has been a standard for back and sides on premium acoustics for many decades.

45mm Nut Width.
A slightly narrower nut will appeal to both classical guitarists and those playing acoustic guitars with metal strings.

643mm Scale.
A slightly shorter scale than that of classical guitars allows you to pull the strings less and facilitates fingering not only for solos in the upper register, but also when playing chords in the lower register.

Improved spring distribution.
A traditional spring system for classical guitars, which increases the vibration characteristics of nylon strings.
