In Russia, in addition to large music schools, in which full-fledged folk orchestras have been created, there are many small music schools with a small contingent of students. There are also music departments at secondary schools. It is for such a small selection of performers that the proposed ensembles are primarily designed, since the number of the performers is minimal - 8 - 9 people. At the same time, any competent leader, having a large set of folk instruments and perceiving the musical material of ensembles as a kind of direction, is able to expand the sound to an orchestral one.
The collection includes works designed both for the initial stage of joint music-making, and requiring quite serious technical training from young musicians.
