About the collection:
This collection includes pieces from the repertoire of the performer and teacher, harmonist Pavel Ukhanov. He is a prominent representative of the Oryol school of professional harmonists.
It is known that the garmon class was opened for the first time in Russia at the Oryol Musical College (OMU) in 1992 according to the program I compiled. There was an opportunity to get a secondary musical education on this instrument. Then accordion classes began to open in other secondary, and later - higher educational institutions of our country.
One of the first graduates in my class was Pavel Ukhanov. Purposeful, thoughtful student, he "grew up" literally before our eyes. Huge work, love for music and his instrument, multiplied by bright natural data, gave their result. Pavel took part in many competitions of various levels - all-Russian and international, and always became the winner. After graduation, he entered the musical and pedagogical institute in the accordion class, where he studied with D.S. Dmitrienko. Then there was graduate school, where he studied with Professor V.A. Semyonov. His active concert activity began.
In the presented collection P.V. Ukhanov included my pieces of increased complexity, the first performer of which was he. Some of them have become popular with virtuoso players. The execution of these works requires great skill. They use not only traditional performance techniques, but also new ones that have never been seen in the repertoire of harmonists.
The plays included in this collection are published for the first time. They may be of interest not only to harmonica players, but also to bayan and accordion players.
