979-0-66004-412-4 Tishchenko B. Concerto for violin, piano and string orchestra. Score. Parts of violin and piano, Compozitor Publishing House Saint-Petersburg
Boris Tishchenko resorts actually to all the existing genres — from mere tune a cappella to super-symphony. However, several genres are evidently taking special place in his creativity. These are ballets, concertos for solo instruments with orchestra, chamber-vocal and instrumental opuses (in particular — piano sonatas).
The Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Orchestra refers to 2006. There are four movements in the canvas, i. e. Fantasia, Rondo, Interlude, Romance. Its music is diverse, passionate, poignant and effortlessly perceived by listeners — that doesn't mean, of course, either ideological, or technical simplicity. Boris Tishchenko dedicated the Concerto to his friend Yakov Yevgenyevich Ioff — the true connoisseur and adorer of music, supporting the academic modern music. This opus signs his 60th birthday.
