FedotovReeds is a Russian manufacturer of reeds and accessories for wind musical instruments.
The company was founded in Nizhny Novgorod in 2011, when the first model of the Concertino clarinet reeds was launched. Today FedotovReeds offers 4 clarinet reeds models and 3 alto saxophone reeds models. The company continues its development, for the near future it is planned to release the first reeds for soprano saxophone.
All FedotovReeds reeds are made from the highest quality giant Arundo Donax cane sourced from trusted suppliers in France and Spain. The reed production process consists of eight stages, at each of which the material and the blanks are pass sorting and strict quality control. The first three stages allow to reveal the slightest defects in wood and reduce the amount of rejects to a minimum. Measurements of the resistance to bending guarantee the accuracy of determining the "weight", the size of the reed.
Since its inception, FedotovReeds has continuously developed and improved its own unique reed making equipment. Any measurements in the production process allow for deviations of only a few thousandths of a millimeter, which makes it possible to present a quality alternative to the mass product of well-known foreign manufacturers of reeds.
