Seagull

The first Seagull guitars Robert Godin produced in the Canadian Village of Le Patrie, Quebec in 1982. From then until now, the concept of Seagull is to take the best that is in hand-made guitars (such elements as solid tops and fine finishing) and create instruments that that could be priced within the reach of working musicians.
All Seagull guitars are made from start to finish in Canada, from local wood, sourced under constant control. The production is located in the small village of Le Patrie, in the east of the Quebec province. For more than a quarter of a century true masters of their craft develop and manufacture guitars here. Today about half out of 475 people in the village, are Seagull guitar builders. And these people are really proud of their work. From the award-winning S6 Original to the new finish of Burnt Umber and the exquisite sound of the Artist series, the Seagull guitars continue to inspire musicians around the world.
