Each Simon & Patrick acoustic guitar is made with the greatest attention to quality and sound. For the tops, only the select solid wood is used, which provides a full rich sound and an excellent response. However, speaking about Simon & Patrick guitars, it is not enough to say about the solid tops. The top of each instrument passes special pressure tests on special equipment, uniquely engineered for Simon & Patrick guitars. This allows to choose the material with an ideal rigidity, stiffness and maximum harmonic vibrations. Such top gives the acoustic guitar a rich, strong, projection and resonant sound.
New Integrated Set Neck system adds extra resistance and reinforcement to the crucial area where the body and top meet the neck. The Integrated Set Neck system allows for more consistent and stable action while significantly reducing warping and twisting of the neck, largely attributed to changes in climate. Each guitar is equipped double with a function truss rod, an Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, a Tusq nut and a compensated saddle by Graphtech.
Another important feature of the Simon & Patrick guitars is the Custom Polished Finish. Reminiscent of the French polish of the 19th century, this new finish gives the semi gloss a gorgeous satin sheen and the high gloss a lustrous shine. It is not only protects the guitar from minor scratches and pick marks, but also allows the wood to vibrate and breathe freely, without interfering the "aging" process, which means that Simon & Patrick guitars sound better the more it’s played over time.
