W.Steinberg

W.Steinberg The birthplace of the W.Steinberg pianoы is a small quiet town Eisenberg with a population of 11.5 thousand people. At the end of the 18th century there were several small workshops producing parts for various famous German piano manufacturers. These workshops evolved and started to develop their own, unique and superior techniques for piano making. Eisenberg’s proximity to the nearby Thuringia forest ensured an uninterrupted supply of the finest timber, and in 1877 the production of the piano W.Steinberg was started.
Today W. Steinberg is more than 135 years of production experience, which was passed on by the craftsmen from generation to generation, harmonious combination of traditions and modern technologies, which allows creating instruments with classic and elegant designs and with impressive sound quality.
Each W.Steinberg piano consists of more than 6000 components, 60% of which are made of wood. But the real pride of the company are the soundboards of Alaskan Spruce, the soul of the instrument, which gives its sound a balance and richness. Before leaving the factory, each piano passes a series of tests, the most important of which are the tests of the soundboard.
135 years of experience, unique own designs, fidelity to tradition and modern equipment allow W. Steinberg to guarantee the high quality of each piano.
